History

In the year 1976, esteemed Nobel laureate economist, Friedrich von Hayek, presented in his publication "Denationalization of Money: An Analysis of the Theory and Practice of Concurrent Currencies" the world with an intriguing theory: a world with concurrent currencies. The vision has however remained largely unexplored, until recently.

In 2021, a collective of innovative minds dared to pioneer this uncharted territory. Empowered by cutting-edge technology and fresh perspectives on the potential of concurrent currencies, this group has taken up Hayek's challenge, breathing life into this fascinating concept.

    The Currynomics Foundation​

    The Currynomics Foundation, set in motion by our founders, is dedicated to developing an ecosystem of Curries and advocating their diverse applications. As a living project, this section will continually evolve to not only highlight the Curries in development, but also showcase the real-world use cases being built on each Curry.

    In a world of ever-evolving financial landscapes, Curries should not be considered mere products. Rather, they should be seen as foundational infrastructures upon which a myriad of applications can be built. The Currynomics Foundation is committed to nurturing these infractions and promoting their growth.

    In our quest to bring individual Curries to life, we look ahead to the potential creation of a Meta-Curry. A composite of various Curries from the ecosystem, this digital currency could potentially experience widespread use, akin to our current fiat currencies.
